Default Did you try the direct song pack?

Okay, this is not quite a technical issue, so I am not sure if it belongs here or in the technician's corner... :P

Last week (or maybe week before last), I went to the directSong site and got the free download as well as bought both of the additional song packs.

Now, the music by itself is fairly good and (I think) is even better than the original in game score. The new scores include a large amount of music set to match various environments (wind blasted icy mountains, jungle drums, etc.)

However, I noticed that with the pack installed, the music seems to be on random selection. That is, I might be in the Shiverpeaks and have the jungle drums playing.

Anyways, so I was wondering if other people had tried the direct song pack. If they had the same problem. What do they think of the direct song pack, etc...

Yeah, there are quite a few people who have noticed the same thing. Check out this thread for more info: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=83925

I dont think there is a point to getting the pack bucause you could get your account stolen.

Huh? Where does this come from?

Personally, I don't use any in-game music (music volume off, fire up winamp!) - but I'm curious about your statement.

I really don't know what he's talking about either, DirectSong being affiliated with Arenanet, and with the existence of the thread Garion2k pointed out there isn't a good reason to keep this one open. Cloesd.
